Access
You can manage and monitor user access to management GUI functions.
The following two types of users are configured in the system:
- System administrators: Administrators are the users who are assigned with different roles in managing the system. These users with administrative privileges can use the management GUI and CLI of the system. Use the Access > Users panel to manage the users with administrative privileges.
- NAS users who access data on the system: When external authentication and ID mapping methods are not used, the users must be authenticated locally by the system. Use the Access > Local Authentication panel to manage the NAS users, if local authentication is selected as the authentication and ID mapping method for the system.
